Travel through the Welsh mountains to Cardigan Bay
Visit the capital of Wales - with many historic buildings, parks and gardens, galleries and museums, contrasting with a very modern shopping centre.
Travel to Llangollen where there will be some free time for sightseeing or shopping as you wish. This afternoon we have included a canal cruise through the beautiful Vale of Llangollen and across the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct - the 'Stream in the Skye'.
Drive to Blaenau Ffestiniog to join the historic Ffestiniog Railway for the memorable train ride to Porthmadog. Afterwards continue to Portmeirion. This is an Italianate village overlooking Cardigan Bay. The classic TV series 'The Prisoner' was filmed here. Includes train ride and admission to Portmeirion.
Full of quaint, narrow streets, interesting little shops, a picturesque harbour and miles of golden beaches. There is plenty to do and see in Tenby this summer - you can take the family to The Dinosaur Park and have lots of fun, you can visit the fantastic Silent World Aquarium, visit the Carew or Manorbier Castles or grab yourself a bargain in the shops. (No admission charges included)
