"Thank You" for putting together an excellent
itinerary for our recent holiday called the Scottish Explorer.
The highlights of the trip must be the Falkirk
Wheel and the tour of Royal Yacht Britannia, both of which were unforgettable
experiences.
Our hotels, The Winnock and Tickled Trout were
of a very high standard and the cuisine excellent, with Scottish entertainment
on three evenings.
The scenery was lovely and the boat trip on
Loch Katrine was made even more pleasurable with good weather and calm water.
Southport and the Lake District on our way home proved to be very popular also
with the group.
Last, but not least, I must mention Wayne and
Jody. Wayne for his part again deserves a huge "pat on the back" for his
driving skills, help and humour which helped make the long motorway journeys
seem shorter. Without him the holidays would not be the same. Thank
you also for sending me your V.I.P. Coach, travelling on which enhanced the
holiday. Although I had some reservations at first, the tables proved a
great success and of course the leather seats with plenty of leg room.
Memories of this holiday will stay for many a
year to come, and we are all looking forward to next year!

weekend that you organised for me and my village group. Your
recommendation for the Rhine Valley Weekend was, as ever, spot on.
Everyone who travelled with us thoroughly enjoyed their time away and are all

The driver - Wayne, was excellent and
couldn't have been more helpful, his knowledge of the area was great. The
hotel was very good with welcoming, friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

help and advice and for the wonderful weekend we all enjoyed.

We were booked to go away with a travel
company that went into liquidation. We thought all was lost, then we got
in touch with Harry Shaw who were glad to step in.
The Sales Manager Mr Pearson travelled all the way from Coventry to Birmingham
to meet with me to discuss the trip - not many people would do that.
What can I say about the trip, from start to finish was just exceptional.
Both coach drivers and hostess did Harry Shaw's proud, we could not ask for a
better service. As for the Sales Manager Mr Pearson, he is just one in a
million. We hope that in the future we will do a lot more business with
Harry Shaw.

Over
a number of years Ian and staff at Harry Shaw City Cruiser Holidays Ltd.
have organised our late/summer/autumn break. After discussion with Ian and
his staff of where we want to go, within a few days a written plan of the
break is returned in writing. On each occasion the arrangements have been
superb. Their choice of hotels has left nothing to be desired. We have
stayed at hotels in
Paris,
Belgium and Holland and at each of the hotels the staff have been most
friendly and helpful.
This
year we have decided to stay at “home”, well in Scotland and I have no doubt
that all will be up to expectations. The added excursions that Ian has
organised have added to the enjoyment of the break taking us to places that
most had not visited before. The drivers that we have had have always been
first class be it in their driving skill or knowledge of the different
venues.
Last
year due to a problem at the Eurotunnel we had to cross the Channel by
Ferry, then there was a blockade by French fishing boats. Believe it or not
the boat our Harry Shaw party was on was allowed through the blockade! After
that what more could I add!

the recent NFYFC study tour to Brussels. The tour was a great success and
enjoyed by all YFC delegates.

I was the Group Leader of a party of 31 Rotarians who have recently
returned from a 10 day holiday in Europe, mainly in Vienna.
For all of us it was a "first time" experience to have a coach holiday of
over 2000 miles and staying in 4 different Hotels. The arrangements and
time table for this was at first a daunting prospect being aware of our age
group and the standard expected by Rotarians.
So far as our travel arrangements were concerned I could not believe my
luck when I approached your Sales Manager, Ian Pearson, with my requirements.
He was outstanding, his knowledge, attention to detail and pure professionalism
were of the very highest order. We were made to feel very special and
despite my many conversations with him, nothing was too much trouble and he
carefully crafted the whole of our travel/hotel arrangements to the highest
standard.
Our driver, Paul, kept us constantly informed of our progress en route,
and his assistant Donna, supplied us with endless drinks and snacks.
My whole group were totally impressed with the entire experience and there
was not a single complaint or criticism throughout. The holiday was
totally professional and I would not hesitate to recommend your Company to any
other Rotary Club or other organisation.

Another lovely holiday organised by Harry Shaw and a big "Thank You" to
you and the Staff for the excellent itinerary.
The standard of the overnight stops at the Novotel at St. Avoid was far
beyond expectations. What can I say about the Karl Schranz Hotel in St.
Anton. A very high standard indeed - the rooms, food and facilities were
terrific and all Staff extremely friendly. You could certainly recommend
it to any of your other groups.
All in all this was unforgettable experience - the scenery was fantastic
and the coach very comfortable for such a long journey. Memories of this
holiday will stay for a very long time.

Just a letter to say a big "Thank you" for all your help in helping me and my
family get our Private Trip to Disneyland Paris.
Your help in supplying me with brochures to give out to my party was a great
help and enabled be to fill our coach of 56 passengers, also your itinerary
sheets make it all clear for our Groups of what our trip was about.
The coach we had for our trip was First Class - 5 stars out of 5, plus our
driver was excellent. We are looking forward to doing another Disney trip

I have had nothing but good feedback from all my people who went on the
trip to Liverpool over the weekend, so much so that they would love Dominic to

Your driver was excellent, he went the 'extra mile' over the whole weekend

Our hotel - The Little Haven in South Shields was excellent in all
respects. The hotel staff were most friendly and helpful and could not do
enough for us and the rooms were of comfort par excellence. Our itinerary
was filled with most interesting places including Durham, Newcastle, Woodhorn
Mining Museum, Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, Alnwick Castle and Garden and Beamish
Museum. Everyone in the Group found these venues of great interest.
I thoroughly recommend the above itinerary and the Little Haven Hotel to any
other group who are considering a Northumberland holiday.

I am writing to say how much we enjoyed our recent 3 night break in
Bruges. As group leader, I particularly appreciated your helpfulness and
efficiency which made my task considerably easier. Our coach was very
comfortable and our driver was very pleasant and sociable and got on very well
with the Group. Our hotel was very quiet and comfortable and ideal for a
group since all the rooms were a very good size and there was easy lift access
to all floors. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive. In
addition, the hotel was within easy walking distance of all the main sites of
