Buckingham Palace & Afternoon Tea
| Day Trip |
Visit Buckingham Palace – one of the few working Royal residences remaining in the world today. The State Rooms are at the heart of the Palace and provide the setting for ceremonial occasions and official entertaining. They are lavishly furnished with many of the great treasures from the Royal collection including paintings by Van Dyck and Canaletto, sculpture by Canova, exquisite pieces of Sevres porcelain and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world. In 2012 there is a spectacular display of diamonds which shows the many ways in which diamonds have been used by British monarchs over the last 200 years. The exhibition includes a number of the Queen’s personal jewels – those inherited by Her Majesty or acquired during her reign. At the end of the State Room you can view the famous lawn.
As well, during the day, we have included a traditional afternoon tea.
