    Day 2
After breakfast we travel east and into Germany to the historic capital of Berlin. Here accommodation has been reserved for 2 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Reunited since 1989 after the fall of the wall, your will discover Berlin is a thriving city.

        Day 3
After breakfast we transfer into central Berlin where we have a half day guided city tour taking in some of the world famus sights including the iconic Brandenburg Gate, infamous ‘Checkpoint Charlie’, Reichstag German Parliament building and Kurfurstendamm Shopping area.

    Day 4
We depart from Berlin this morning and travel north to reach the wonderful Mecklenburg Lake District – the largest area of Lakeland in Europe. We pass the beautiful mediaeval town of Neubrandenburg. In the afternoon we arrive at the Hanseatic city of Stralsund. There will be a chance to have a look round before we take you to our hotel located in the area. Stralsund is a World Heritage old town with imposing churches, red brick houses and market square and lovely waterside gardens and restaurants

        Day 5
Our included excursion today takes us to Ruegen Island. This is linked by a bridge, and definitely one of Germany’s hidden gems. The beautiful pier at Selin is a sight to behold. We also visit the chalk cities in the Jasmund National Park, (entrance fee payable locally), and the delightful resort of Binz before returning to our hotel

        Day 6
Today we head west to the beautiful Hansiatic town of Lubeck, then onwards for a night in Germany’s second city – Hamburg. Hamburg offers a rich, maritime history, stunning architecture and a lively atmosphere with over 2,000 bridges, more than Venice and Amsterdam combined

Day 7 Check out of the hotel following breakfast and commence our journey home. We will make our way to our overnight hotel where once again accommodation is reserved on a bed and continental breakfast basis.
