We start with a local departure for our journey north. Accommodation has been reserved for 4 nights on a half board basis at one of Scarborough’s landmarks – the Grand Hotel – which is located in the town centre, overlooking the harbour and South Bay. All rooms have private facilities and TV. Features include a restaurant, bar and cabaret room with entertainment on all nights. The theme throughout your stay will be 'Turkey and Tinsel'.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- A visit to York – one of the world’s great tourism cities with its famous walls, the Minster and the National Railway Museum, (admission not included)
- A visit to Bridlington – a lively seaside resort and fishing port. We continue to Beverley – a delightful town with many Georgian buildings
- A visit to the North Yorkshire Moors, taking in Pickering and the charming town of Whitby - dominated by the remains of the old abbey
