We start with a local departure for our journey south. Accommodation has been reserved for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the Victorian seaside hotel The Imperial just 2 minutes from the seafront. All rooms have private facilities, tv, tea/coffee making facilities. There is a bar, lounge and restaurant and entertainment is provided during your stay.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- All aboard the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch railway for the 13.5 mile journey from Hythe to Dungeness on the smallest railway in the world – passing small towns and villages along the way with the landscape of Romney Marsh and the unique beauty of Dungeness. We continue to the ancient Cinque Port of Rye – a delightful town with enchanting cobbled streets and a mediaeval church.
- A visit along the coast to Brighton – famous for its Regency Palace and the labyrinth of antique shops in The Lanes. There will be plenty of time to discover Brighton before returning via the magnificent South Downs and passing the awe-inspiring Beachy Head the highest chalk cliffs in Britain.
As well there will be a full day at leisure in Eastbourne.
