We start with a local departure for our journey via the cross Channel ferry or Eurotunnel to the Continent. We continue to Bruges and our hotel – the Novotel Brugge Centrum. This is set in the historic centre of Bruges. All rooms have private facilities and features include a bar and restaurant.

There will be time to explore the city – don’t miss some of the main sights. You can enjoy a horse and carriage ride through the cobbled streets, (extra cost), or perhaps take a cruise down the network of canals, (extra cost).
As well we have included these great excursions:
- Afternoon excursion to the lively seaside resort of Ostend. We then continue to Ypres where you can absorb the poignant ‘Last Post’ which takes place every evening at 8pm
- A visit to the 13th century ‘art city of Flanders’ – Ghent with its quaint cobbled streets and labyrinth of canals. This is one of Belgium’s oldest cities and its elegant Mediaeval architecture is worth admiring
