Highgrove Garden

Day Trip

HRH The Prince of Wales has spent over 30 years transforming the grounds of Highgrove from a bleak landscape into one of the most inspirational and innovative gardens in the land!

Your Itinerary

Departure from selected regional pick up points for journey to Highgrove.

Since 1980, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales has devoted much energy to transforming the gardens around the house. With the help and advice of notable individuals and the dedicated assistance of the garden staff, what was once a somewhat bleak landscape is now one of the most creatively inspired gardens of today. A series of interlinked areas, each with their own character and purpose, weave magically around the garden, with the house always visible in the distance.

All Garden tours are led by one of His Royal Highnesses Garden Guides and cover around 2 miles lasting approximately 2 hours. Visitors with walking difficulties should be aware that some of the pathways are unmade. We also recommend you wear stout shoes and suitable outdoor clothing as the tour will continue during wet weather.

Also during you visit you will have the opportunity to visit the Highgrove Estate Shop and Orchard Restaurant.
