We start with a local departure for our journey north. Accommodation has been reserved for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the Selborne Hotel. This is superbly situated looking south across the Clyde with pleasant lawns reaching down to the promenade and water’s edge. All the public rooms and many of the bedrooms offer uninterrupted views of the river. All bedrooms are en-suite with tea/coffee making facilities. Features include a restaurant, bar lounge, games room and outdoor terrace. Entertainment is provided most evenings with free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
• We travel along Loch Eck to the shores of Loch Fyne and Inverary, then on to Oban – the principal town on the west coast and port for many of the ferry services
• Full day to Largs, a charming Scottish seaside resort, complete with Victorian promenade, shops and the Pencil, a striking monument that commemorates the Battle of Largs.
