The sleepy Yorkshire village of Haworth is surrounded by the rugged countryside of the Pennine Moors. It is transformed at Christmas time. The village’s cobbled street with its quaint shops and cosy tea room provides a wonderful setting for the hugely popular Victorian Christmas market. Here you can browse the shops and stalls set in their festive finery with unusual crafts, gifts and local produce. You may like to explore the Bronte Parsonage Museum, (admission payable locally) – the sisters’ family home.

As the UK is no longer part of the European Union, most EU countries now require UK passports to be less than ten years old and still to be valid for six months at the time you are due to leave their country. Just so you know if you renewed your passport before the previous one expired ,any extra months which may have been added to your new passport expiry date making it valid for more than ten years might not count.

For example a passport with an issue date of 1 January 2012 and an expiry date of 31 October 2022 is not valid beyond 01 January 2022, ten years after its original issue date.
