30 December - we start with a local departure and take you first to central London. There will be time to shop, sightsee and explore. Some of major high street names have already started their sales, or you may prefer to take a ride on the London Eye or perhaps go to the top of the Shard. (Admissions not included). Afterwards we take you to our hotel – the Mercure Hatfield Oak. All rooms are well appointed and features include a bar and restaurant. Tonight we have a 3-course dinner and entertainment will follow with a local folk band.
Day 2 – New Year’s Eve – after a leisurely breakfast we take you to the University City of Cambridge. The dreaming spires are a wonder to behold – don’t miss the river and the excellent shops. Return to the hotel for our 4-course Gala Dinner followed by a disco and dancing through to the New Year. There will be a midnight toast with a glass of bubbly to welcome in the New Year. Entertainment will continue until approximately 1.00 hours when bacon baps will be served.
New Year’s Day – 01 January – enjoy a late breakfast. In the afternoon a fun general knowledge quiz will allow you to pit your wits and possibly win some goodies to take home. A light 2-course lunch will be served at around 13.00 hours followed by a farewell evening event with a Winter themed hot and cold buffet and entertainment from 19.00 hours making this a wonderful finale.
Day 4 – we bid a fond farewell to the hotel. We take you to Royal Windsor. Here you can enjoy the shops or perhaps visit the castle, (admission not included). Continue our journey home, arriving back later on.
