In Porec we stay for 5 nights at the 4* Valamar Diamant Hotel. This enjoys a quiet location surrounded by pine forests. The beach is approximately 5-10 minutes walk away. All rooms are well appointed and there is a fitness centre, solarium, spa and wellness centre, together with an indoor pool. (Some facilities chargeable).
Overnight hotels are city syle or family run.
Day 1 - Departure from your chosen pick up point and travel to the Channel port from where we take the short sea crossing to the Continent. Continue through France to our overnight hotel where accommodation is reserved on a bed and Continental breakfast basis.
Day 2 - After breakfast we will continue our journey to Porec. Here we have the next 7 nights dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation reserved at the Hotel Valamar Crystal.
Days 3 – 8 - During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- Rovinj - A visit to this beautiful town regarded as one of the most picturesque on the Croatian coast. There are narrow mediaeval streets sitting behind city walls.
- Opatija - We visit the Opatija Riviera. The resort is often referred to as the ‘Nice of the Adriatic’ on account of its celebrated seaside promenade.
- Pula - There are over 3,000 years of history and heritage at Pula. See the stunning amphitheatre and the Forum as well as the Franciscan Monastery.
On day 9 we commence our journey home via an overnight stopover where accommodation has been reserved on a bed and Continental breakfast basis. Day 10 – continue our journey home arriving back later on.
