We start with a local departure by coach for our journey south and stay for 5 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the modern Esplanade Hotel, situated on the world famous Fistral beach. All rooms have private facilities and colour TV. Features include a restaurant and bar. To round things off there is an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. (Some facilities chargeable).

- A visit as far as we can go in Cornwall to Land's End, with free time before heading to the picturesque fishing village of St Ives where there is a myriad of little shops and art galleries along its cobbled stoned streets and harbour side. The narrow winding streets mean the coach is unable to take us to the heart of town.
- A drive across the Duchy to the lovely deep water port of Falmouth steeped in military history. Here you may like to take a short cruise on the River Fal or visit Pendennis Castle, (admission not included). Next we travel to Truro - county town of Cornwall, dominated by its splendid cathedral.
