Every other year during the Festival of Roses the village of Lottum is elaborately decorated with roses. Millions of rosebuds make up its enchanting mosaics, model gardens and beautifully decorated objects. There is a garden fair, a rose and flower arranging demonstration and plenty of information on greenhouse and outdoor roses.

Your Itinerary:

Our special trip starts with a local departure for our journey via the Cross Channel ferry or Eurotunnel to the Continent. From here we make our way to southern Holland and Valkenburg. The Hotel Walram is set in the heart of town and is handy for all the shops, bars and street cafes. Rooms all have private facilities. Features include a restaurant and indoor pool.

On day 2 we take you to the Rose Festival at Lottum.

Day 3 is at leisure for you to enjoy Valkenburg itself. It boasts beautiful architecture, prettily decorated terraces, quaint cafes and so much more. The ruins of the 12^th century castle are the highest in the Netherlands. There is an array of museums and Dutch delights for you to explore.
