We stay at the Grand Burstin Hotel which is set on the harbourside. The hotel bursts with activity. There is a cabaret room with large dance floor and nightly live shows. Leisure club with an indoor swimming pool etc. (Some facilities chargeable).
On day 2 we take you via the Eurotunnel to the ‘chocolate and lace’ city of Bruges. Discover the Mediaeval architecture, quaint cobbled streets and picturesque network of canals. The Christmas market here is famed for its beautifully wrapped chocolates, colourful sweets and hand made decorations. On the way home we visit Adinkerke – with its selection of wine and beer warehouses. Please remember all items must be for personal consumption and Customs and Excise suggested limits must be adhered to.
Important Note: To travel on the day trip to Bruges a full 10-year passport is required. Duty free goods are no longer available. Due to Government weight restrictions it is possible only to carry back one case of approximately 24 small bottles of beer from Belgium per person. All items must be for personal consumption. The tunnel crossing may be substituted with a ferry crossing – no compensation payable in these circumstances. We accept no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, malfunction or damage of any item purchased. If the Christmas market in Belgium is not operating for whatever reason this is beyond our control and no compensation is payable.
