We include a visit to the Capitan Cook Memorial Museum, charting his life and times in Whitby, before free time to enjoy the attractive tourist centre.  In the afternoon we follow the coast north past Staithes, where Cook was a grocer’s apprentice before reaching his old school room in pretty Great Ayton, to view their museum of Cook’s early life
  • A visit to Richmond with its majestic castle and attractive centre, before continuing to the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales to reach peaceful Wensleydale and the popular tourist centre of Hawes. We include a visit to Wensleydale Creamery where the famous Wensleydale cheese is produced
