We start with a local departure by coach for our journey south.
At Torquay we have 4 nights half board accommodation reserved at the TLH Derwent Hotel. The hotel is situated less than a 5 minute walk to the seafront and all rooms have private facilities & tea, coffee making facilities. During your stay there is a full entertainment programme including daytime activities. Features include a leisure complex with gym, bars & restaurant, games area etc.. (please note some facilities may be chargeable)
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- A half day visit to charming Totnes with its lovely riverside walks, Georgian houses and Norman castle ruin. We continue to Paignton - famous for its mile long sandy beach backed by a promenade, harbour and traditional pier.
- Plymouth - known for its maritime heritage and historic Barbican district with narrow cobbled streets, Sutton Harbour is home to the National Marine Aquarium where sharks and stingrays glide in a deep tank (admission not included).
