On day 1 we visit Peterborough a thriving metropolitan city, with a splendid Cathedral and a great selection of shops and places to eat and drink. In the afternoon we make our way to our hotel the Sprowston Manor Hotel, Norwich where accommodation has been reserved for 2 nights with dinner, bed & breakfast. All rooms have private facilities and features include bar, restaurant and indoor pool.
On day 2 we travel to historic Norwich. The Mediaeval walled city boasts a huge market place, a wide variety of shops in the cobbled lanes and an art filled Castle. Complete with its cathedral and Mediaeval churches it is a delightful place to wander and explore with a chance perhaps to see the Tunnel of Light at this festive time.
On day 3 – Depart after breakfast and call in at Ely - with its Cathedrals history dating back over 900 years and a prominent film location for Elizabeth: The King’s Speech and The Crown to name a few this is well worth a visit. There are also independent shops full of charm and character and places to eat and drink. Depart in the afternoon for our journey home.
