We will be based at the pleasant village of Kamp Bornhofen which is set along side the mighty Rhine itself overlooked by two castles known locally as the “feuding brothers”.
Our holiday hotel - The Wagner is an old Harry Shaw favourite. There is a bar and restaurant area and all rooms have private facilities. The hotel have arranged a festive programme during your stay (subject to change)

Day 1 - Depart locally in the early morning and travel to Dover for the short sea crossing. Aboard the ship you will have the opportunity to take a meal in a restaurant (not included in the price), do some shopping or just take a breath of sea air. After clearing customs formalities we continue along the motorway arriving in the Rhine Valley during the late evening. Soup and sandwiches are included on arrival (subject to arrival time).
Day 2 - Christmas Eve
After breakfast we have a visit to Koblenz - where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet - for shopping or sightseeing.
Return to the hotel and at approximately 1800 hours for those who wish to attend there will be a church service in the village to celebrate Christmas Eve. Dinner tonight and music.
Day 3 - Christmas Day
After breakfast this morning you can wander around the village or take a stroll along the river banks. Lunch and Dinner included today. Tonight's dinner will be followed by live music.
Day 4 - Boxing Day
Today we take you to the meandering Moselle Valley. We visit the historic wine town of Cochem, overshadowed by its famous castle. Dinner and a visit from Santa with disco.
Day 5 - After breakfast we have arranged an optional excursion exploring the Rhine Valley. Our trip takes in the “Queen of the Rhine” Boppard, St. Goar and the lovely town of Rudesheim. Price: £19.95 per person. Dinner tonight will be followed by music and a special guest to say farewell to everyone!
Day 6 - After breakfast it’s sadly time to bid a fond farewell to the Rhine Valley as we make our way back to the ferry port. After a short sea crossing we arrive home during the late evening.
