We start with a local departure south and stay for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the Beresford Hotel, Newquay. This is located on the sea front with views over Tolcarne Beach and a short walk into Newquay. Facilities include bar, ballroom, two comfortable lounges, games area and sea views from the conservatory.
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- A tour along the Cornish coast visiting Rick Stein’s Padstow and pretty Port Isaac or ‘Portwen’ in ITV’s ‘Doc Martin’
- A drive across the Duchy to the lovely deep water port of Falmouth steeped in military history. Here you may like to take a short cruise on the River Fal or visit Pendennis Castle (admission not included). Next we travel to Truro - county town of Cornwall, dominated by its splendid cathedral.
