Our special trip starts with a journey south. Accommodation has been reserved for 3 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the popular
Queens Hotel. This boasts a prime location, 200 yards from the sea front and town centre. All rooms have private facilities, colour TV and tea / coffee making facilities. There is a bar and restaurant and an indoor heated pool (subject to availability).
The hotel have arranged a Twixmas itinerary during your stay and we have also included a day excursion:
Day 1 – Arrive to a warming tea or coffee and mince pie. At leisure before dinner at 6pm. Evening entertainment starts at 8.30pm in the bar lounge area.
Day 2 – After breakfast we make our way to Kingsbridge and Totnes: the charming market town of Totnes with its lovely riverside walks, Georgian houses and Norman castle ruin. The estuary town of Kingsbridge offers a glimpse of rural Devon life with its selection of independent shops, galleries and cafes. Return to the hotel for tea/coffee and a sweet treat served at 4pm. Dinner from 6pm this evening followed by entertainment in the bar lounge area at 8.30pm
Day 3 – Breakfast then at leisure to enjoy Paignton. Meet at 6pm in the bar lounge for a sparkling drink before dinner. Entertainment again at 8.30 pm this evening.
On day 4 we bid Paignton a fond farewell and travel home.
