We start with a local departure for our journey north. Accommodation has been reserved for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the popular Rob Roy Hotel, Aberfoyle. This hotel has a rural setting on the outskirts of town. All rooms have private facilities, tv and tea/coffee making facilities. Features include a bar, restaurant and entertainment on one night during your stay.
As well we have INCLUDED these great excursions:
- Day 1 - A visit to Gretna Green – some free time to explore the UK’s most popular wedding destination, and its famous Blacksmiths shop before continuing to the hotel
- Day 2 - Edinburgh – we visit Scotland’s capital with it’s imposing castle, Holyrood Palace and the famous Queen street where you can find Scotland’s best shops and restaurants
- Day 3 - Stirling – Scotland’s ancient capital and the site of the famous ‘Battle of Bannockburn’ and home to a magnificent castle and abbey.
- Day 4 - Day tour over the Trossachs past Loch Achray and into Callander
- Day 5 - Lake District – depart after breakfast calling in at the English Lake District before continuing the journey home arriving back later on.
