Day 1 - You will leave from your chosen departure point early morning for the Channel crossing to the continent. We continue to France for our overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2 - Continue south arriving in Montecatini Terme – Tuscany – for a 5 night dinner, bed and breakfast stay
Days 3-6 - We have included these great excursions:
- Siena - One of the most perfectly preserved Mediaeval towns in Europe. Its narrow streets are lined with palaces and mansions leading to the famous Piazza del Campo. Included 2-hour guided tour and entrance to the famous cathedral, the Sala del Pellegrinaio and access to the Facciatone or ‘big façade’ from where you can admire the view.
- San Gimignano - Included 2-hour guided tour of this enchanting hilltop town known as the ‘town of the beautiful towers’ – a striking feature of the Tuscan landscape. Enjoy the piazzas and great shopping, try the Via San Giovanni.
- Lucca and Pisa - Included 2-hour guided tour of Lucca, one of Italy’s finest mediaeval towns with entrance tickets to the cathedral. Afterwards we have an included 2-hour tour of Pisa and entrance tickets to the famous leaning tower and Cathedral.
- Florence - The art city and cultural capital of Italy. It boasts fashionable shops, museums, cafes and splendid architecture. During the day we have included a 2-hour guided tour.
Day 7 - Depart for France for our overnight stopover.
Day 8 - Continue home, arriving back later on.

Hotel Settentrionale Esplanade (or similar). All rooms are well appointed with private bathroom. There is a restaurant and bar and features include an outdoor pool and terrace.
