We start with a local departure by coach for our journey south.
At Torquay we have 4 nights half board accommodation reserved at the TLH Derwent Hotel or TLH Victoria Hotel with its elegant restaurant and period features. The hotels are situated less than a 5 minute walk to the seafront and all rooms have private facilities & tea, coffee making facilities. During your stay there is a full entertainment programme including daytime activities. Features include a leisure complex with gym, bars & restaurant, games area etc.. (please note some facilities may be chargeable and subject to change)
During your stay we have included these great excursions:
- A half day visit to charming Totnes with its lovely riverside walks, Georgian houses and Norman castle ruin. We continue to Buckfast Abbey home to a community of Roman Catholic Benedictine Monks; a place of beauty and tranquility. There is also a large restaurant, shops, exhibition centre and beautiful gardens.
- Today we enjoy a trip to Georgian Teignmouth, a traditional seaside resort with a classic Victorian pier, before visiting Dawlish with its golden sand beach.
