Our special trip starts with our journey North to Scotland. We will stay at the Caledonian Hotel just two miles from Fort William and boasting stunning views of Loch Linnhe for 4 nights dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. All rooms have private bathroom, TV and tea/coffee making facilities and hotel features inclde a loung, bar, snack bar and restaurant.
During your stay we will also include these great excursions:
Oban and Mull – Drive to Oban for the crossing to the Isle of Mull and a guided tour of Duart Castle followed by tea & scones. Afterwards head to Tobermory known for its colourful houses and shop fronts.
Lochaber & Mountain Cable Car – A Short tour of the Fort William area with a photo stop at The Commado Monument completing the day with a cable car ride into the mountains adjacent to Ben Nevis.
West Highland Line train & Isle of Skye – Board the train in Fort William for the scenic railway journey to Mallaig where the coach will be waiting to board the ferry “over the sea to Skye”. Continue by coach taking in the rugged scenery before stopping for lunch (included). Continue the journey stopping at Eilean Donan Castle for a photo opportunity. As you travel through Glen Shiel the Five Sisters of Kintail come into sight.
