We start with a local departure by coach for our journey south to Torquay. At Torquay we have 3 nights half board accommodation reserved at at the Riviera Hotel. This is set approximately 15 minutes walk from the town centre and a few minutes walk from the beach. Features include an indoor swimming pool (subject to availability), restaurant and bar. All rooms are well appointed.
During your stay we have
included this great excursion:
- Today we board the steam train from Paignton along the spectacular English Riviera Geopark coastline, through the picturesque stations at Goodrington and Churston (non-stopping), then on through the wooded slopes of Long Wood bordering the Dart Estuary to Kingswear. A short foot passenger ferry takes you across the river Dart to the historic town of Dartmouth for some free time before returning back by coach to the hotel.
There will also be a day at leisure for you to explore Torquay.
On day 4 we bid a fond farewell to Torquay and travel to Bath. There will be free time to look around before we commence our journey arriving back later on.
