We start with a local departure for our journey via the cross-Channel ferry or Eurotunnel to the Continent. From here we make our way to Ostend. Accommodation has been reserved at the 3* Royal Astrid Hotel which is set approximately 50 yards from the beautiful sandy beaches. Features include an on-site spa with indoor pool area. (Some facilities chargeable). All rooms are well appointed.
On day 2 – Visit to Bruges and the Christmas market famed for its beautifully wrapped chocolates, coloured sweets and handsome decorations. Afterwards free time in Ostend to enjoy the festive atmosphere and to round things off there is a spectacular light show with over 232,000 lights illuminating one of the main shopping streets.
On day 3 – Depart hotel for some free time to explore Ostend maybe visit the unique Christmas market and ice rink inside the park’s pond. Afterwards we will call in at a wine and beer warehouse on the way to the port. Please remember all items must be for personal consumption and Customs and Excise limits must be adhered to. Return home later on.
